The blue ceramic dial and bezel is absolutely striking and a true chameleon in that it changes tone based on the light that surrounds it. I could not be more impressed with this watch. It . Some recommend a crystal replacement, I have had very good luck with my guy doing a wet-sand to get some of the deeper scratches out and it doesn’t compromise the crystal (as long as they don’t sand it so thin as it becomes weak). I received a 1970 Speedmaster Professional (clasp dated 2-70) as a graduation gift from my father who purchased it on release. My 300m professional bracelet is back in for warranty service with Omega for a second time—the clasps on these divers are very poorly made. —Or at least the one that came with my watch originally was, as was the first replacement I got. I'm looking for some advice regarding the correct bracelet for my Omega Seamaster 60 Big Crown 166.062. From what I've found so far, it seems the 1098/540 is the original correct bracelet, and the 1125/560 is a suitable replacement. I have mine fitted with the Omega mesh and its really a great strap, comfortable and looks fantastic. I have tried an 'aftermarket' 20mm Speedmaster modern bracelet on my SM300 😉 If I remember correctly the Speedmaster end link was a better fit as the end link on the modern 20mm Seamaster (Planet Ocean type) is longer than the Speedmaster one - I wanted .
