i find the combo of roman numerals, fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet to be a bit too busy. This is one of the few Rolex designs that i find visually jarring. So for me, its an easy answer: Explorer. The great size of the 36mm explorers, with the lume of the modern 39mm mkii. The lack of lume on the 114270 is why I went with the 214270. The pictured Explorer is the 39 mm model (refer to the dial), so it has a 20 mm lug width. For me, the flexibility of the 20 mm lug width (including OEM jubilee) is a strong argument for the 39 version.
